Okung out 2-4 weeks

The Seattle Seahawks have lost rookie left tackle Russell Okung for 2-4 weeks with a sprained ankle.

It is not the way the Seahawks wanted Okung’s rookie season to start, but they are hopeful he can make it back for the season opener.

Tickets Honored For Rescheduled U2 Tour

In May 2010, U2 had to postpone the North American leg of their latest 360 Tour.  During tour preparation training Bono sustained an injury that resulted in his admittance to a specialist neurosurgery unit in a Munich hospital to have emergency back surgery.

There is good news for U2 fans.  The band has announced that the 20 dates have been rescheduled for the Spring/Summer 2011.  All U2 tickets for original tour dates will be honored.  Refunds are available at the original point of purchase.

U2 was originally scheduled to play Qwest Field on June 20th.  The show has been rescheduled for June 4, 2011.

Paul McGuinness, U2’s manager, released an official statement thanking fans for their continual support, “We’re delighted the dates are rescheduled and in all the same venues we originally planned to play.  It hasn’t been easy to accomplish this and I’d like to thank the managers of the many venues and sports teams across North America and Live Nation Global Touring for their help and cooperation in making this complex new plan possible.  Above all we want to thank the U2 fans for bearing with us.  They’re the best and the band wants to get back to where they belong, surrounded by their audience.”
